What if I can't make the drive to Paonia?

In cases where clients are unable to come to us, we offer pick up and drop off services, private in home training sessions, or virtual training sessions.

How much does it cost?

Our pricing varies depending on services needed, duration of stay for boarding, number of dogs, etc. Contact us for inquiries and pricing will be provided up front.

Does board and train work?

Board and train is a wonderful and effective tool in our toolbox for many cases. Not all dogs will be eligible for board and train. In those cases, we will recommend alternative approaches or refer you to colleagues that are a better fit. During consults, we will cover behavior history, goals, life at home, etc. and discuss the best route from there. Every board and train includes written notes, two follow up lessons, and lifetime support.

Will my dog be stuck in a kennel all day during boarding?

No! We provide a relaxing environment rather than a noisy kennel stay. Our days are structured to give dogs ample potty breaks, time to train, time to just be dogs and stretch their legs, one on one time, play time, and time to relax with chews.

My dog has medical conditions that require extra care. Can they still board with you?

Dogs with special care needs are welcome to board with us on a case by case basis. We are experienced with a variety of health conditions and we're happy to discuss whether or not we're a good fit for your pups.

I miss my dog when I'm away. How can I find updates about their stay?

One of the many benefits with small scale boarding/board and train is that you don't need to go hunting for updates. We will send daily photos and updates about your pup via text or email, whichever you prefer.
